Wow! How cool is that! Such a vivid purple! Try again tonight, I didn’t see anything with my naked eye either, but it lit up with the camera. Good luck!!SandyK1967 wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 12:29 amWestern PA.
I was reading about it online and someone said to use the camera. Well I am at work, but ran outside and it was dark 11pm but I snapped a couple pictures and this is what I got through the camera. Didn't look like anything with my bare eyes. I may try again tomorrow at home.

Congratulations Henrietta! I hope you see them! Need to use your phone camera to see them. Doesn’t look like much otherwise. Good luck! Share you photos if you are successful.

Oh WOW!! Amazing!! The photo with them right above is spectacular! Thanks for sharing.

YES, try tonight! We may have too much cloud-cover, but hopefully most of it will blow away. Use your phone camera so you can see them. They aren’t very visible to the unaided eye.

My dad just told me to stand outside around 8 pm here in No. Virginia....if you're in the western part of the state (closer to the mountains) you might get better lights. Had I known, I would have gotten a B&B for the weekend! Can't wait to see everyone's photos!

Wow! Those are Gorgeous photos. I didn't know to look, but we had cloud cover last night and got rain with pea sized hail this morning. I'll try looking tonight.

These are all amazing photos! How wonderful that so many people all over have been able to see the lights. This is one of my "bucket list" things to do. Here in NYC we have too much light pollution to see anything
Happy Scrapping!

NO FAIR!!! Lol! I live in Alaska and we couldn’t see them. There are mountains in the way… Normally the skies here are too cloudy to see anything but it was clear last night.
Love love love all your pictures!!!
