To move in the cherry ranks, the only posts that count are the ones in the message board and not the comments in the gallery?

Correct!  But you do get a Cherry Point for each comment in the gallery!

Thanks! I have been slowly navigating my way through and learning all the nuances since NSD. Next is to conquer the avatar! I may need to go to the computer for that instead of my IPad.
